Heads Up Bracket Tournament
Starting the week of November 25th, we will begin holding a single elimination bracket heads up tournament. Winner will receive a cruise package or something of equivalent value! We will try to set up the bracket so that the final will be Ocala versus Gainesville
1st round starting the week of November 25th, 1,500 chips, blinds 50-100 with 10-minute blinds. There will be 4 heads up tournaments a night twice a week at one of our pre-selected venues (4 for Gainesville, and 4 for Ocala). (Round of 64) 2 weeks
20 points to enter, receive 5 points for advancing.
2nd round starting the week of December 9th, 3,000 chips, blinds 100-200 with 10-minute blinds. There will be 4 heads up tournaments a night twice a week at one of our pre-selected venues (4 for Gainesville, and 4 for Ocala). (Round of 32)
25 points to enter, receive 10 points for advancing.
3rd round starting the week of December 16th, 6,000 chips, blinds 200-400 with 10-minute long blinds. There will be 4 heads up tournaments once a week at one of our pre-selected venues (4 for Gainesville, and 4 for Ocala). (Round of 16)
30 points to enter, receive 10 points for advancing.
4th round will begin the week of December 30th, 12,000 chips, and blinds 300-600 with 15-minute blinds. There will be 2 heads up tournaments once a week at one of our pre-selected venues (2 for Gainesville, and 2 for Ocala). (Round of 8) Quarterfinals
30 points to enter receive 10 points and a shirt for advancing.
5th round will begin the week of December 30th, 24,000 chips, and blinds 500-1000 with 20-minute blinds. There will be 1 heads up tournaments once a week at one of our pre-selected venues (1 for Gainesville, and 1 for Ocala). (Round of 4) Semifinals
30 points to enter, receive 20 points and a $25.00 gift card for winning.
6th round will be held at the next champion’s tournament, which should be held the 6th or 13th of January. Starting chips 48,000 blinds 1,000-2,000, and 20 minute blinds.
Finals!
20 points to enter, winner receives 20 points and a cruise package or equivalent value. Second place receives a gift card for The Outback.
- The first 64 people that sign up will be eligible to play.
- You may sign up without currently having the initial 20 points, however, if you do not have the points before the start of the round you will automatically forfeit.
- You must be present during your scheduled event to advance!
- We will try to work with the players and their schedules, however, if you are unable to play at one of our regular venues during the week that you are scheduled to you will be forced to forfeit.
- We will hold these tournaments during the normal 1st consolation game.
- Make sure that you put your contact information down when you sign up so that we can contact you to let you know when you will be scheduled.
- If you want to change the time when you are scheduled you will need to make sure it is ok with the person that you are going to be playing before asking for a reschedule.
- If we are able to finish the 1st round faster than expected everything will be moved up one week.
